Full-Day Ride to Prato Piazza

The Prato Piazza - day trip is our longest and most challenging ride. It is aimed at very experienced riders who want to spend a whole day in the saddle and experience high-altitude alpine pastures from horseback.

Depending on the route and conditions, the ride takes us through extensive terrain with large differences in altitude. Sometimes we will also dismount and walk. The focus is on covering distance, riding at a steady pace, and consciously handling the horse and our energy over many hours.

Character of the Ride

The day trip is designed as a full-day ride and requires both rider and horse to be in very good physical condition. The route is long and varied, with periods of steady progress and deliberately chosen gaits.

A break is planned during the ride, during which riders can eat the food they have brought with them or stop at the hut, and the horses can rest sufficiently.

Option: Half-day ride

In exceptional cases, the ride to Prato Piazza can also be offered as a half-day ride.

In this case, transportation to and from the destination is provided by horse trailer, which requires additional organizational effort. For this reason, the half-day ride is more expensive than a regular half-day ride.
