Scenic Ride to Herrenstein Viewpoint
The Herrenstein scenic ride is a varied cross-country ride with a clear destination: a viewpoint at the foot of the Herrenstein, the striking local mountain of the Pragsertal valley. The ride combines exercise, terrain, and landscape and is aimed at riders who want to be active.
From the farm, we first ride on narrow paths through forest and terrain passages before continuing to gain altitude on forest roads. The trail itself is varied, with the viewpoint forming a natural highlight of the tour.
Character of the Ride
This ride combines narrow paths and forest roads. We deliberately use trot and gallop on suitable sections, always adapting to the terrain, weather, and group.
The viewpoint offers a sweeping view of the Prags Valley and the surrounding mountain landscape. We take a short break there before heading back.
